In August 2024, Jad Sahyoun was looking for Palestinian clothing that truly represented his heritage. Disappointed by the available options, which didn’t feel connected to the depth of Palestinian culture, he decided to create FALASTIN. The goal was simple: to offer clothing that reflected Palestinian identity and history in a meaningful way.
Starting with pop-up stores at Concordia and McGill universities in Montreal, FALASTIN gained attention for its thoughtful designs and connection to the Palestinian story. As more people connected with the brand, it gradually expanded beyond Montreal through social media.
Today, FALASTIN continues to focus on preserving Palestinian culture and supporting initiatives that benefit Palestinian communities. Every product helps contribute to that mission in a small but meaningful way.
