Made to Last, Meant to Mean
Where craft stays honest and the message stays clear.
How it started
In August 2024, Jad Sahyoun went looking for clothing that felt true to his Palestinian roots. He didn’t find it. What began as a personal search became FALASTIN, first shared on tables at Concordia and McGill in Montréal, then carried further by word of mouth and community.
What we design
Two threads anchor our work:
- Symbols of Palestine - keys, olives, and other marks of memory and return.
- Flowers of Palestine - quiet florals drawn from the land.
Each piece is pared back so the meaning is clear, the wear is easy, and the story remains at the centre.
How we make
We keep materials honest and construction considered: heavyweight 100% cotton, clean finishes, and small, deliberate runs. Choices are made for comfort, longevity, and the kind of daily use that lets a piece gather life rather than wear out.
Community
FALASTIN lives in person, through pop-ups, campus moments, and gatherings where stories are told and sizes are tried. It’s where the next idea usually starts. See Blog & Events for what’s ahead and what just passed.
Giving back
We donate 100% of profits after costs to United Palestinian Appeal (UPA). For the breakdown, partners, and receipts, visit Impact & Donations.
