FALASTIN - Iqraa Spring Fun Run 2025 – Running Toward a Brighter Palestine
On April 12, 2025, runners, families, and supporters will gather in Washington, D.C.’s Anacostia Park for the Iqraa Spring Fun Run 2025—a community-driven initiative dedicated to building a brighter future for Palestinian students through education.
FALASTIN is proud to be one of the supporting partners for this year’s event, organized by Iqraa in collaboration with United Palestinian Appeal (UPA). This annual campaign raises funds for the Mahmoud Darwish Scholarship Fund, which has provided full university scholarships to more than 3,000 students in Palestine since 2008.
In 2024, Iqraa runners raised over $48,000 toward education and food security in Palestine. For 2025, the goal is to recruit 30 runners and raise $50,000—uniting people from diverse backgrounds, faiths, and fitness levels under a shared purpose: Running for a Brighter Palestine.
