"Olea europaea (الزيتون), commonly known as the olive tree in Palestine, is the country’s most widely cultivated crop, covering nearly half of all agricultural land. The annual harvest from October to November is a cherished tradition, supporting the livelihoods of around 100,000 Palestinian families. In the West Bank alone, there are over 10 million olive trees, many growing on land tended by the same families for centuries."

The back of the t-shirt features a historical botanical illustration of the olive tree. Below the graphic is the Latin name of the species.

The illustration is sourced from an 1876 botanical book titled Wild Flowers of the Holy Land, a collection of artwork documenting native Palestinian flora.
