"Olea europaea (الزيتون), commonly known as the olive tree in Palestine, is the country's most widely cultivated crop, covering nearly half of all agricultural land. The annual harvest from October to November is a cherished tradition, supporting over 100,000 families. In the West Bank alone, there are over 10 million olive trees, many growing on land tended by the same families for centuries."
