"Oranges in Palestine, particularly from Jaffa, symbolize heritage, prosperity, and connection to the land. They were a major source of income for the Palestinian economy during the peak of the orange trade. It is said that 500 boxes of Jaffa oranges was once traded for a Mercedes -170."
